Two awards were presented during the 2008 Conference held in Idaho Falls.

Bonneville County Prosecutor Dane Watkins Jr. and Deputy Prosecutor Randy Neal were presented with the Idaho Chapter IAAI "Outstanding Achievement Award". They were nominated for the award by Detective Steve Barnes, in cooperation several other agencies and investigators.

The award ceremony was opened with an outstanding performance by the Idaho Falls Fire Department Pipes and Drums. The ceremony was also attended by City and County elected officials.
